Stride Rite Shoes - Review
Most of you may need no introduction to Stride Rite, the leading brand of premium children's footwear in the US for over 85 years! All this time, they've been refining upon engineering footwear designed specifically for the feet of growing young children.
These were some of the reasons I was very happy when Stride Rite sent over 2 pairs for review consideration. One was the Rio from their New Arrivals and the other was true classic, the Skip from their popular pre-walkers selection.
The Rio is something my son just loved! And why not?!

- Leather/mesh upper
- Hook-and-loop closure for adjustability
- New lightweight, flexible outsole
- Antimicrobial lining for fresh feet
- Machine washable (air dry only) and moisture wicking

Made for crawling, the sporty Lil' Skip is enhanced with ultra-comfortable Natural Motion System™ to give tiny, growing feet the protection they need as they explore the world for the very first time. Designed to mimic barefoot walking, these sandals have a flexible stride path and natural propulsion that babies need to grow into strong walkers.
- Leather (White and Classic Navy) or Nubuck (Brown) upper
- Leather linings for breathability
- T-strap closure for easy on/off
- Padded collar to protect those tender heels
- Natural Motion System™ for superior fit and support
- Stage 1 - Supple, protective footwear for tiny growing feet.

I bought Stride Rite gym shoes and sandals for my sons 1st pairs of shoes but they were so expensive. His gyms are still in good condition but his sandals did not wear well and the seude leather looks pretty bad after only a few months.
