Great Guests, Oscars and More - This week in THE VIEW

by - 3/01/2010

I'm enjoying being an Official The View Brand Ambassador and showing off that lovely little badge on my left sidebar! Part current events discussion, part gossip, part interview and always non-stop fun, this is a program that has something for everyone and the co-hosts are a big part of it. Whoopi is always good for delivering one-line zingers, Behar and Walters provide keen insight while the younger ladies, Hasselbeck and Shepherd are good at keeping the ball rolling with topic after interesting topic.

From the Olympics to spousal abuse, killer whales, suicide, Obama's cholesterol and more were just some of the many topics tossed around on today's episode.

Here's what you can look forward to during the rest of this week  :

Robert Pattinson
•       Tuesday, Mar 2: Robert Pattinson (makes his first-ever appearance on the show with his “Remember Me” co-star, Emilie de Ravin. Robert, you know and loved as Edward Cullen in the movie adaptation of the Twilight Series (and as Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter). And Emilie plays Claire, the Aussie beauty in LOST - still my fave :) - and who they've brought back - yay! I look forward to seeing these two young and upcoming actors. As well as Mitt Romney, the 70th Governor of Massachusetts also makes his first-ever appearance.
Lisa Kudrow

•       Wednesday, Mar 3: This show will feature the best of “View Tube,” including backstage antics and celebrity exit interviews. Lisa Kudrow of “Who Do You Think You Are” will be joining the hosts as well.

Valerie Bertinelli & Mia Wasikowska

•       Thursday, Mar 4: Celebrity guest co-host Valerie Bertinelli, former Oscar nominee Abigail Breslin from Broadway’s “The Miracle Worker,” Mia Wasikowska from Disney’s “Alice in Wonderland,” and a musical performance from Broadway’s “Fela” will be featured on this jam-packed episode.

Wesley Snipes & Don Cheadle
•       Friday, Mar 5: The View’s “Road to the Oscars” episode welcomes former Oscar nominee Don Cheadle and Wesley Snipes and “Fashion Friday” celebrates “The History of Oscar Fashions” with a two-part look back at some of the most memorable – and perhaps forgettable – Oscar hits and misses, with host and celebrity stylist Robert Verdi. Hosts of “At the Movies” Michael Phillips and Tony Scott will also be on set to unveil their 2010 Oscar predictions. (Now this is an episode I'm most looking forward to viewing. What about you? Share your thoughts in the comments.)

Until next week, Happy Viewing!
