I remember the first time I heard about the HPV vaccine was also the first time I ever heard about cervical cancer. That a cancer can be prevented from a vaccine still seems miraculous to me. Especially since Cervical cancer is the second most common cancer affecting women worldwide.
But I always thought HPV vaccines are for girls and young women ages 9–26 to help protect against the two types of HPV that are most commonly associated with cervical cancer. As it turns out, that's not all!

Inspired by Roald Dahl’s beloved children’s book, this is the story of a young boy named James who gains possession of some magic crocodile tongues after the daring rescue of a spider. When James spills them in the garden, out sprouts an enormous peach! Climbing inside, he meets an astonishing cast of characters and embarks on a magical odyssey full of thrills and adventure.
The mix of fantasy and adventure proved to be an irresistible lure to my kid and even I had fun watching it. Having not read the orginal story, I can't confirm how much of it was true to the book. But there's no denying the charm or the wonderful way this movie captures and captivates its audience.
Dvd Review - The Last Song
At its heart, 
The Last Song
is a poignant journey for a father (Greg Kinnear) and daughter (Miley Cyrus) who have lost touch with each other and are struggling to find a way back. At the same time, it explores the uncharted territory of young love, as the emotionally closed off Ronnie begins to let down her guard with a boy (Liam Hemsworth) she meets during summer vacation. This Nicholas Sparks novel-converted-to-film is another tear-jerker, but simply not of the same caliber as the movie version of The Notebook
