Transformers: Beast Wars- Season One

The 4-DVD set of Transformers Beast Wars: Season One is an action-packed thrill ride for any Transformers fan. Or if, like me, you're a bit new to the Transformers world (well, apart from the movies, that is), then you'll soon be intrigued enough to watch and want more. I certainly hope to get my hands on the rest of this Beast Wars series, not to mention the entire Transformers series itself.

The 26-episode series, which debuted in 1996, is set in the future of the "original" Transformers universe. When the descendants of the treacherous Decepticons — now known as PREDACONS — land on a mysterious planet in search of a powerful fuel known as Energon, it’s up to Optimus Primal and the heroic Maximals to stop them before they conquer the universe!

While this dvd set is not rated and meant for all audiences, I personally feel my kids are a bit young to watch or understand this series at this time. Which is why I haven't shared this with them yet, although I really look forward to the day when I can.
